HydroPaws is just the addition that we need to Santa Barbara's veterinary community. What I would have given to have the resources and trained staff of HydroPaws here six years ago, when my dog Shadow had surgery on both knees and would have benefited enormously from the underwater treadmill! What a help HydroPaws has been with Henry, who has permanent damage from injuries to both rear legs sustained as a young puppy. Karen's knowledge and skill have really extended his range of motion and enabled him to strengthen his weak leg; his gait is nearly normal now and he can do pretty much anything an "able bodied" dog can do. I was so worried that Oliver wouldn’t be able to walk again after his surgery but with the help of Hydropaws and the home exercises that were recommended he is doing so well! It’s only been three months and he is practically back to his pre-surgery self!
