"HydroPaws is just the addition that we need to Santa Barbara's veterinary community.  What I would have given to have the resources and trained staff of HydroPaws here six years ago, when my dog Shadow had surgery on both knees and would have benefited enormously from the underwater treadmill!  What a help HydroPaws has been with Henry, who has permanent damage from injuries to both rear legs sustained as a young puppy.  Karen's knowledge and skill have really extended his range of motion and enabled him to strengthen his weak leg; his gait is nearly normal now and he can do pretty much anything an "able bodied" dog can do.  Thanks to Karen and Jamie for helping him so much, and being so nice and fun to work with!"

After 2 unsuccessful knee surgeries, I was certain Emma would always limp.  I could not have been more skeptical when Dr. Putnam referred me to you for water therapy.  BOY WAS I WRONG!!!!  I would never have believed it if I hadn't witnessed Emma's steady progression.
You and Jamie were amazing with her.  Not only were you patient and gentle despite her Westie "attitude" - your methods clearly addressed the source of her problems.  I knew the second you started your evaluation of her that your skills were exceptional.  You fully restored her knee function and in doing so -- gave her back her personality.  It brought tears to my eyes to see she was no longer in pain.  She is back to her long beach walks, easily hops on & off the couch, and spins joyfully around the yard playing keep-away with her toys.  Everyone who sees her & watched her struggle after her surgeries is equally amazed.
You are enormously gifted and kind.  I absolutely know Emma would not have progressed without you.  Thank you so much for restoring the use of her leg.  She's back to being her confident little self.  (and that's a good thing) "
